ABOUT WEST DAMIETTA

The West Damietta power plant, which currently comprises a 500 MW power module, will be expanded from a simple cycle to a combined cycle, thus enhancing the 500 MW plant production capacity to 750 MW, without the use of additional fuel. The project is financed by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), as well as by other international and Arabian bodies for the other lots of the power plant.
